We weigh up to 2 kilograms and our body size is around 2 meters.We love to eat fish, shrimp, crabs, tiny plants and even other species of jellyfish. instead of us chasing our prey we let them drift or swim towards our stinging tentacles.We can be found in waters both cold and warm, deep and shallowDid you know we can also produce our own light.
Hello, I’m a Seahorse.I am called a seahorse because the shape of my head looks like a head of a small horse.Our body size is around 2cm-35cm.You will find me in tropical waters.Our tails can grasp objects, such as coral.Did you know that we can camouflage; which helps us aviod predators such as crabs and other fish and helps us stalk our prey.
Hi there, I am the Orca Whale.We grow to be quite large weigh up to 9,000kg thats around the size of 9 cars. I hunt for anything and everything from fish to Walruses, Sea Turtles and Sharks.We aren't deep divers but we can dive to at least 100 meters. I have around 45 teeth. Each around 7.6cm long. Our colour pattern helps us when it comes to hunting, as we are able to sneak up on our prey. This is because of our dark back blends in with the water. We live and hunt together in pods or family groups.
Hello, I am a Butterfly Fish.We are very small fish and grow to around 10cm. We can live up to 7 years.We like to feed on plankton and coral. You will find us in tropical and subtropical waters, around coral reefs.Our brightly coloured bodies make us recognisable. Interesting enough we are closely related to the marine anglerfish which you will see further down your journey.
Hello, I’m The Blue Whale.I am one of the largest animal to ever live, in the entire history of earth.We filter feed for tiny krill. You will find us in most oceans, except the parts of the arctic ocean that remain covered with ice.Just one breath from a fully grown adult blue whale, will produce enough air to fill nearly 2,000 balloons!Our heart is so big that it is almost the same size as a small car.
Hi there, we are the Green Sea Turtles.We can weigh around 65-130kg thats around the same size as an adult person.Unlike most other sea turtles, we eat marine plants such as seaweed and sea grass. You can find us nesting along the coastline. We like to spend most of our lives underwater, where we can rest for up to 5 hours at a time before coming up to breathe. We can live up to 80 years.

Our life span can be from around 3 months to 30 years.We can catch small fish and animals such as plankton by using our stinging cells on our tentacles. We like to live in the tropical and warm waters.We are a home and hiding place to many different marine animals.
Hello there, I am a Great White Shark!We can grow to around 4.66 meters long, but some great white sharks have been measured at 6 meters, thats half the length of a bus!We have 300 sharp triangular teeth which I use to feast on sea mammals such as sea lions, seals, and small whales. You can find us almost everywhere in the ocean mostly in cool waters close to the coast. We are at the top of the food chain and aren’t likely to be killed by other sea creatures.
Hi I am a Tuna fish!We can grow quite big reaching 2 meters in length. Thats a size of 2 baseball bats. You can find us in warm waters and subtropical waters such as the Atlantic Ocean. We can swim near the surface or can dive to the depth of 900 meters while we search for food. At a young age, we can eat tiny plankton, and our prey increases in size as we do. As adults, we eat fairly large boney fishes.
Hey, I’m a Puffer Fish, I am also known as a blowfish.I can grow to be a medium sized fish, I can vary in size.I like to eat algae, clams, muscles and shellfish.You will find me in warmer waters around the world.One of our main features is the ability to swallow huge amounts of water which increases our body size that turns us into odd-looking ball like creatures. Quick transformation scares predators.
Hey, I am an Anglerfish!I can grow to 1 meter in length. We like to eat shrimp and other small fish.You will find us in the dark depths of the ocean over 2000 meters deep.So what makes us super strange? Well, the female has her own glowing light hanging above her mouth! This attracts their prey to come close enough to our sharp, see through teeth.

Giant Kelp can grow to hight of 30 meters, the giant kelp is the largest seaweed. Since giant kelp is not a plant, it does not have roots. Instead, it collects all its nutrients from directly from the water. Giant kelp lives in the Eastern Pacific Ocean and temperate waters of all oceans in the Southern Hemisphere. It lives in cold, clear waters where it forms large, dense kelp forests that provide habitat for thousands of other marine species.
Hello there, I’m a star fish.We can weigh up to 5kg and can have a body size of 65cm. Our main sources of food are clams, oysters and mussels, which are usually attached to rocks or otherwise unable to escape quickly under the rocks. We also eat snails and injured fish, when we can find them.

You can find us in most oceans around the world.We are thought to be one of the smartest animals on the planet.
We can be extremely curious and often approach people to investigate.As adult bottle nose dolphins we have no known predators.
